1948 On January 17 Prospects Myanma Township , Yangon Born in Kalaw Village, U Thein Maung's mother, Aye Gyi, was born. He is the eldest of two siblings.
In 1964, he received a Basic Education High School diploma from the Mandalay Telephone High School and received the Mathematics Allotment Award (Gold Award). He was awarded the King's Wisdom Medal by King U Bo.
In 1965, he graduated in the 14th ACA in Mandalay (pre-postal school). 1965, On May 3, he was a junior clerk at the Meteorological Department in Mandalay. The Bachelor of Science (Physics majoring in Physics) from the Mandalay Institute of Arts and Sciences, Mandalay University of Science and Technology, served in various capacities. It was a great success. He received his B.Sc (Physics) degree in 1971. He was especially successful in multilingualism. Therefore, the university has a direct demonstration. However, he continued to work in the Meteorological Department without intervening.
In 1973, he was accepted to Florida State University. He graduated with a B.Sc degree in 1975. In 1987, he returned to the University of Florida for the second time for a master's degree in science. In 1989, he also earned a Master of Science (Weather) degree from the University, and was awarded a three-year doctoral fellowship by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. But he did not attend. It is now a doctoral dissertation in that subject.
In 2003, he received the Second Industrial Award.
He graduated with a Ph.D degree at the University of Yangon for four years. He received his PhD in July. 2009 On March 20, he was awarded the first Teacher of Physics award at the Department of Physics at the University of Yangon .
In 2006, he was a permanent member of the International Meteorological and Hydrological Association. In 2007, he chaired the Asian Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Council. Dr Tun Lwin has been working as a weather reporter since 1980, when he was the director.
Prior to Cyclone Nargis , he was a reliable source for weather news and was well-known for being open to the news.

More than 120 articles and about 300 lectures, It has already made about 40 overseas. He has authored three scholarly books and has won the Nobel Prize for Science and Literature for Girl and the Natural Disaster. He was awarded five medals from the state, including two industrial tiers. Dr Tun Lwin is currently in Thailand, Thailand. As Technical Advisor of the RIMES (Regional Integrated Multi-hazard Early Warning System) at AIT; MRCS, CARE Myanmar. Actionaid Myanmar, EcoDev, In NAGs and As a Resouce Person, ICHARM (Japan), EGRESS, World Vision Myanmar, Global Green, and other LNGOs and INGOs are involved in climate change and disaster risk reduction. He is a weekly and monthly weather speaker on FM radio channels like Mandalay FM and Shwe FM. ChannelHe also served as a speaker on MRTV-4 from time to time.
Dr Tun Lwin's wife, Daw Mu Mu Tha Than, lives with three sons and two grandsons in Yangon. [2] Dr. Tun Lwin died on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 6:57 pm.
